Youth and Children’s Ministry

Does GPC have a youth group?
Yes!  Our youth group meets every Sunday @ 3 pm, typically at the church.
Pastor Wes Kendall usually leads the group in a variety of games, connecting, and faith formation from 3 to 4:30 pm.   We are also building a team of young adult volunteers, and – occasionally – we do some off-site trips together.
Does GPC have anything for kids?
Yes! We have nursery care for infants and toddlers every Sunday from 10:00 am through worship in the Christian Education wing of our building.  You are more than welcome to keep your baby or toddler with you in worship, but we also make nursery care available as an option.  Look for our nursery attendant, Sammi Jo, on the north end of our building in room #2 or #5.

Each Sunday we also encourage all preschoolers through 5th grade to participate in our weekly Children’s Church, which begins in worship with the Children’s Sermon.  Following the Children’s Sermon, your kids are invited to go with Mrs. Lisa Cooper and Mrs. Betsy Demmings (or one of our other Sunday School teachers) for interactive discussion and learning.

The first Sunday of the month is always our family service, and we encourage all families to stay together for this time of worship and enjoying the Lord’s Supper.

We also have special activities throughout the year intended specifically for our kids: our annual summer VBS, holiday gatherings, and craft times during family meals
