GOAL #1 – HIRE A FAMILY LIFE MINISTER
Our prayer is to hire a FAMILY LIFE MINISTER, someone with a heart for Christ and for young families.
We will be seeking a special person who will be a good fit for our church family and who desires to support our kids and youth in their faith journey.
This person will …
- Help create Sunday School and youth group experiences for our children and youth
- Build a team-oriented environment between parents, youth, children and volunteers
- Model and shape healthy environments of discipleship from birth through high school
- Partner with parents and our church family for deep and meaningful faith formation experiences like Confirmation, Pyoca camps, and First Communion.
We believe God is even now preparing someone to serve with us in this role, and we invite you to join us in praying for God’s wisdom and leading as we seek someone to serve in this call.
Our goal is to fund this position for 3 years.
GOAL #2 – RENOVATE OUR CHURCH HOME TO WELCOME ALL
Our goal is to create an even more welcoming entrance for ALL PEOPLE and ALL GENERATIONS!
We will address the cosmetic and structural needs of our front entrance, removing the peeling stucco and utilizing Hardie cement siding boards instead. We will incorporate decorative elements that enhance the overall look while retaining the architectural beauty. We will also …
- Replace our interior and exterior front entrance doors with Low-E glass doors for improved energy conservation
- Replace all door thresholds to further enhance energy conservation
- Create a modern look and feel in the front entrance through ship lap, fresh paint, and new flooring
- Replace the worn out carpet in the sanctuary and narthex.
Finally, we will be refreshing our narthex with new furniture and spaces so visitors can easily access children’s worship supplies, connect with outreach opportunities like SAWs, and feel welcome on Sunday mornings.
